Cast: Judy Garland...Alice Mayberry Plot: When the day is over both Alice and Joe, know that they love each other, but Alice is hesitant to admit that she is indeed in love with Joe. When in the big city of New York they lose each other and Alice thinks that she'll never again see Joe, she is willing to admit her to her love for him. After Alice and Joe have finally found each other, two decide to get married. In the very end Joe goes away with Alice's promise that he will come back to her and that she'll be waiting for him. Alice and Joe tell each other "see you," and as Joe's train is leaving the station Alice turnes and begins walking out of the station with a dreamy look. Then the camera lets her get lost in the crowd of the many people who were also there to say goodbye to some loved one. It is one of Judy Garlands best most dramatic movies ever. The Clock is indeed a classic.
